Ellie started the business in 2007 after a number of years performing senior retail jobs in fashion and home styling. Since then she has developed an incredible Brand in the Wedding world and even after almost ten years she is utterly crazy about Bridal Fashion. Global buying and a huge love of fashion keeps her ahead of the game.
A self confessed shoe and style- aholic Ellie believes that your style should be no different on your wedding day. There are no bridal uniforms in her boutiques and she runs a mile from the average and ordinary look. Her goal is to offer a style that is as unique as every client.
Her boutiques have become THE place to buy your dress in the Home Counties and, with a string of awards for customer service, business acumen and shop presentation, her business just goes from strength to strength.
Ellie is a bit of a live wire and has an enormous amount of energy and drive. So, in her spare time, she writes for trade magazines and appears in most of the Regional Wedding magazines as an expert. She is a frequent guest speaker at high profile Wedding Industry Events and has also appeared on SKY TV talking about wedding trends. Ellie is also a business mentor for other new start up bridal shop businesses. She is held in such high esteem within the industry that she is now in her third year a judge for The Wedding Industry Awards, judging other bridal shops and suppliers for accreditation.
Ellie also believes in giving back to the community and so works with a few of her favourite charities. One of the charities which she supports is The Kezi Silverstone Trust which helps Children rebuild their lives after long term abuse as a child.
She is also a ‘Dragon’ for the Homeless Charity CRISIS which is based in Oxford. Ellie, along with other Dragons, award Government funding to individuals who come to present their business case. Sometimes she takes this role a little too seriously by overstating “I’m out” in a Scottish accent!
When she is not working, Ellie loves to travel, entertain at home and is always finding a reason for a party.
