At Ellie Sanderson we’ve been lucky enough to work on some seriously stunning editorial photoshoots, but our recent collaboration with luxury wedding planner Constance Taylor of Mrs T Weddings was something else. Set against the backdrop of Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos’ sculptural 12-foot Wedding Cake installation in the grounds of the heavenly Waddesdon Estate, this styled shoot brought together some of the brightest British wedding talent, with magical results.

The wow-factor Buckinghamshire wedding venue

Waddesdon Estate provided the perfect setting, with a relaxed luxury vibe that helped set the scene for this super-chic alfresco wedding shoot. Nestled amongst a tranquil grove, Vasconcelos’ Wedding Cake installation – which can be used for private hire, dining, drinks receptions and wedding day portraiture – is simply another level. Modern, playful and very, very cool, it helped set a uniquely theatrical tone for the day.

The vivid alfresco tablescapes were a riot of vibrant pinks and peach, with fluffy peonies and soft garden roses stealing the show. We love the summery Secret Garden style, which really added a sense of romance and celebration.

A venue this beautiful deserves some wow-factor dresses, and we knew just the gowns to bring this super-luxe wedding shoot to life.

Joan by US designer Kelly Faetanini has the coolest modern-day princess vibe, with a chic sweetheart off-the-shoulder neckline and figure-flattering fit-to-flare cut. But what really brings the drama is the skirt – we adore the waterfall layers of ombre ruffled tulle.

Miata by Eva Lendel

A celebration this luxurious calls for all the sparkle, and that’s exactly what Miata by Eva Lendel delivered. Sequins, pearls and beading embellish this jaw-dropping lace dress, resulting in an A-list worthy bridal gown that’s fit for the red carpet. The tailored bodice helps to create a mesmerising silhouette. How gorgeous?
