Are you planning on buying your groom-to-be a gift? Does he have all the watches he could desire? Are personalised cufflinks not really his thing? The ultimate gift of a lifetime is you. A Boudoir photography shoot is designed to show you off in your best light, a personal gift that lasts forever. Whether you choose to bring along his white shirt and a pair of killer heels, your sexiest lingerie, or his favourite football shirt, the shoot is all about YOU. Capture your romance and summarize your relationship in a series of photographs you will both never forget.
So I understand it is a photoshoot wearing not much… but what does it actually involve?
The planning starts from the moment you decide you want to do a Boudoir shoot. If you feel excited- fantastic, and if you feel nervous- that’s normal! Get in touch and book your experience; we only do a select number of shoots to ensure you get the best experience possible with experts always on hand. We then support you in creating a Pinterest board to help us get a good idea of what style of photos you love; soft lighting for the vintage and romantic, or smoky eye makeup for the Hollywood glamour feel. Also begin to think about items you may want to incorporate; start with your favourite heels and something sexy, and then consider something of his that he may recognize.
On the day, the professional photographer, and hair and make up team, will be on hand to make sure you feel the best you have ever felt before the photo shoot begins. The photographer will begin to take a few shots to test the lighting and get you at ease for when the fun begins. Let us know your favourite assetts, and the bits you aren’t so keen on; we will then make sure we capture you from your favourite angles. You WILL feel sexy and comfortable!
The photo shoot starts with soft images, lots of natural lighting, and natural makeup. With a bit of music to get you in the moment, you will soon find you settle in quickly. If you feel brave enough, we then suggest a change half way through to some red lippy, maybe a change of hair style and an outfit change. A small flick on the cd player and Michael Buble can croon away whilst you pose perfectly.
How far in advance should I book?
We strongly recommend a good few months prior to your wedding day. We can then work on a day to suit you, perfect your style of image, take your photos, and then with a little retouching have them ready for you in time to present on your wedding day.
How are the images presented?
After your shoot we give you private access to an online album with all of your images in and we ask you to pick your favourites. As part of your package, you can choose a single re-touched and colour enhanced 9×6 inch photograph in frame or a single hi-resolution file with personal copyright license. We offer a wide range of albums which can hold up to 20 prints (or more if required), wall canvases and other wall art such as Acrylics, Gallery blocks, Framed prints etc, and extra loose prints to do with as you wish. Just let us know what you want!
