Our lovely Holly had a beautiful May wedding at Bix Manor in Henley on Thames, a family owned property with a stunning 17th Century Barn. Holly loved how intimate the venue felt, saying “it really felt like home for the day!”
Holly wore the stunning Sorrento by Alan Hannah, a column shaped Italian Silk Duchesse gown with an embossed rose damask print. It features a flattering bow at the waist point and a beautiful bateau neckline.
Her fifties style Alan Hannah gown really is a ‘Wow’, and Holly knew she needed some pretty fabulous bridesmaid dresses to compliment, and wow did she find some! The floral print works beautifully in the countryside and the bold colours pop beautifully, matching Holly’s lipstick! We especially love those retro underskirts!
Holly recommends to all future brides, “Really make the most of the build up and enjoy it; the day is gone in a flash!” We agree with her, enjoy the planning process! After all, it is leading up towards one of the most important days of your life. Holly’s beautiful pictures document her day perfectly; you can really see just how happy she feels:
Holly has a great idea to hopefully ease your wedding planning as the day gets nearer; “In the week leading up to the wedding try and make time to enjoy a ‘date night’ with your husband to be, whether it’s your favourite takeaway or drinks in your local pub – relaxing for a couple of hours together will do the world of good!” This is a great idea Holly, thank you!
We wish you a wonderful married life ahead of you Holly, you looked absolutely stunning and we are so glad you received so many compliments, all thoroughly deserved. We look forward to seeing you with some future engaged friends!
