We are thrilled to be able to present to you this stunning Jenny Packham destination wedding, complete with a soft citrus palette and a stray donkey named Doris!Lorna was married in September 2013 in Marrakesh, at the gorgeous Villas Fawakay, joined by 36 of her and her fiancé’s closest friends and family.
Lorna chose the striking Eden by Jenny Packham in the exquisite platinum colour, having seen it at the National Wedding Show in Birmingham. Eden was on display at our Ellie Sanderson stand, and Lorna knew right then and there it was meant to be! Having seen it online previously, she knew it fitted her brief perfectly. She tried the dress on, and ordered it straight away… having been the only dress at the show she tried on at all!
We agree; Lorna chose the perfect gown for her. The simple layering of a floor length sheath dress and the beaded overlay meant Eden was perfect for a destination sunny wedding in Marrakesh.
We love Lorna’s colour scheme; the rich orange and fresh greenery compliment beautiful and really emphasise the warmth! All of us here at Ellie Sanderson admired her unusual looking ruched bridesmaid dresses with dropped sash details, which suited her two girls perfectly.
Lorna describes, “We had a perfect fun filled, chilled out happy weekend with 3 days of celebrations with lots of Moroccan detail – delicious Moroccan food, gnaoua musicians, fire dancers and a visit to the Medina!”
In true Moroccan style, her ceremony was memorably gate-crashed by a donkey named Doris!
We wish Lorna and her new husband so much happiness in married life, your wedding photos are simply stunning and you will certainly have some fantastic memories of your special day.
