Our wonderful Ruth first visited Ellie Sanderson in January 2013 looking for her perfect dress. She knew she wanted tulle and a full skirt and we had a fabulous collection to show her. Ruth fell in love with Carmen by So Sassi on her second visit, and after a few bespoke changes she knew she had found the one! Ruth decided to swap the champagne coloured sash on the waist for ivory, we exchanged the soft scoop neckline for a sweetheart neckline, and ordered a Lily Bella diamante belt to define the waist.

 We were thrilled to help make this dress perfect for Ruth, she really had made it her own! Ruth didn’t stop there; when she came in for her styling appointment she saw a headpiece she loved that wasn’t quite perfect for her; a designer headband bespoke from Tantrums and Tiaras was soon on its way into store for her. Ruth has a great eye for detail and wow did it all come together beautifully.

Ruth’s venue was the beautiful Huntsmill Farm; a stunning rural venue with beautiful countryside views.

Ruth has some fantastic advice for you when planning your own wedding;  “If it ever gets stressful or too much then always remember why you are getting married.” After a busy year, Ruth reminds us all that getting married is “A privileged position to be in, to be well and happy and marrying the boy or girl of your dreams, so enjoy the time leading up to the day as well as the day itself. Don’t sweat the small stuff!”
