When the new season gowns begin arriving in store, us Ellie Sanderson girls start getting very excited! The latest Claire Pettibone collection was no exception; gorgeous lace, embroidery, appliqué flowers, golds and silvers, sequins, oh and did we mention the back details?? WOW!!
One particular favourite is Eden; a romantic, ethereal dream of vines and flowers, tulle and glittering sequins. Eden is a simple A line shape with high illusion neck, an under layer of silk provides a luxurious shimmering backdrop for the gorgeous embroidered tulle over lay. The skirt is slightly fuller than most of the Claire Pettibone collection, allowing for fantastic impact without losing the signature Pettibone boho chic.
Eden has one of the the most stunning keyhole back details we have seen in a while. Golden vines appliqued onto the tulle surround the cut out, blurring the line between dress and back, whilst a feature is made of the clasp with a shimmering gold pattern and delicate jewels – just beautiful.
