ELLIE SANDERSON ARRIVES IN WOODSTOCK

14 Market Place, Woodstock……. at last.

I am not going to lie, 2018 has been a tough year searching for a new location for our new Oxford shop. Having left Little Clarendon Street in April this year we have looked at a number of retail units but none of them felt quite right. I am a big one for “feeling” the right energy and none of them gave me that buzz.

My Beaconsfield boutique has always felt like that. 11 years on I still love every inch of that little shop. I wanted the same for our Oxfordshire brides. There was no compromise to be made and if you know me you’ll know I mean that.

WOODSTOCK WE ARE COMING

Having visited lots of shops and travelled from one end of Oxfordshire to the other we can now announce our new home will be Woodstock. Woodstock has always been on my list.  I looked there way before Beaconsfield was born but the timing was never quite right. Something about being near Blenheim Palace, the tea shops, the interior design shops, the galleries,  the clothes shops and the sunshine make this just perfect for us and we are officially in love. Woodstock is a perfect location for a girls day out with lots to see and do.

We have finally found our forever home.  Whilst we wait for her to be made fabulous we will be in a temporary rather “cool little shop” on the Market Place, not far from the new shop.  At last we can show off our amazing 2019 collection in all its glory, at last our Oxford brides can have a slice of epic style from Suzanne Neville to Jesus Peiro and our new label Charlie Brear.

We open on the 5th of January at 9am.

A huge thank you to all the girls who travelled to Ellie Sanderson Beaconsfield and to those who came to our pop up shops. Not forgetting those that we have on our waiting list and our Andrea chats with monthly to keep you updated.

If I am honest its been heartwarming to receive so many emails asking where and when we are were re-opening. I have felt proud and happy that Oxfordshire missed us so much. In the current retail climate to have a waiting list is quite something. We promise the wait will be worth it.

2019 is going to be a happy year for us and we can’t wait to get it started. But first Christmas.
