With Christmas finally upon us, it feels like the perfect time to look back and celebrate the amazing year we’ve had here at Ellie Sanderson. 2022 really feels like a whirlwind year of weddings – just the way we like it. It’s been a year of massive highs, exciting changes and new adventures for Ellie Sanderson. So grab yourself a mince pie and a glass of champagne and let’s recap on our fabulous year.

NEW DESIGNERS AT ELLIE SANDERSON

This year we’ve added two new designers to the Ellie Sanderson family – and wow, are they something special! Chosen by KYHA is a seriously cool Australian bridal label that Ellie has loved since its launch in 2016. With a contemporary fashion feel, every gown is a showstopper, from glamorous, contemporary dresses to dazzling embellished numbers.

We have also just added British bridal label 29 Atelier to the fold. Pairing couture design with a real focus on sustainability, these are the chicest wedding dress choices for a stylish eco-conscious bride. The total opposite of fast-fashion, a 29 Atelier gown is something to be cherished. We are so in love!

ALL THE NEW COLLECTIONS

2022 has been an outstanding year for bridal fashion. We have been utterly bowled over by the new collections from our favourite labels, including Suzanne Neville, Jesus Piero, Kelly Faetanini and RISH. As well as ticking all our Ellie Sanderson must-have boxes, like exquisite fabrics, impeccable cuts, luxurious design and thoughtful craftsmanship, each collection offered something a bit different for our brides. Whether you’re into pull-the-stops-out glamour, sleek, minimalist style or fashion-forward touches, our wonderful designers delivered ­ – and them some!

HELLO, KIDDINGTON!

One of the huge highlights of the year was opening our brand-new Ellie Sanderson bridal studio in Kiddington. This idyllic, rural setting is the ultimate destination for brides searching for their dream dress. Every little detail has been thought out, designed and handmade to offer you the most unforgettably perfect experience. TALK ABOUT BUSY

It’s been such a non-stop year for Ellie Sanderson. Our team has grown, we’ve opened our new Kiddington studio, we’ve travelled the world in search of the hottest bridal labels and, quite frankly, we’ve loved every minute of it! 2022 was also a huge year for a very special reason, as Ellie became Mrs Flowers, with THE most incredible wedding in the South of France. 2022 has been our busiest year, welcoming over 1,000 brides through our doors in their hunt for the perfect wedding dress. What an honour it’s been to meet so many amazing women, hear their stories, help boost their confidence and talk about all things wedding fashion. Heaven!

BRING ON 2023

Although the Ellie Sanderson team are definitely ready to take just a few days off to enjoy Christmas, we’re already super-excited about what next year brings.
