FILM – THE DRESS

We are extremely excited to be at the centre of a short film being made about The Journey of A Wedding Dress.

Local Film maker Gordon O`Neil is the Director of this project and says that  `The Dress` is a film focussing on the journey of a wedding dress from concept to the big day. It follows its journey through the eyes of those who, in their different ways, encounter the dress.

The story is told through the experiences of those who have first hand encounters with it.

Their story is told through a mixture of formal and informal interviews interspersed with behind the scenes footage. Each participant will have a different encounter with the dress and therefore a different perspective on how they view the dress and how it made them feel. The tone of the piece is to be positive and life affirming. The film will be shot in a more cinematic, documentary style with the participants themselves telling the story.

So, we have the Bridal shop owner  (me 😉 . we have the gorgeous wedding dress shop, we have the  Dress designer, and we are now looking for a bride to be that wants to get involved.

It will mean that you will be filmed, choosing the dress, having it fitted, collecting it, your wedding day and much more.
