Sometimes we take part in a styled shoot that really captures everything we love about weddings, this one at Manor Farm Barn definitely delivered. Beautiful boho gowns, gorgeous foliage adorning every surface and a shetland pony (thats right, there really was the cutest shetland pony!), this shoot is bursting with inspiration for all those planning a winter wedding.

The shoot was set at Manor Farm Barn in Marsh Gibbon, and styled by the lovely wedding planner Katie Lou Weddings. Katie’s vision for the day evoked feelings of frosty winter days, with chic yet cosy touches. Tables were laden with winter foliage and berries, whilst rustic touches made the barn the most charming space.

Charley our gorgeous model had the most amazing time with the shetland pony, who only seemed mildly interested in eating the dresses. Manor Farm Barn really is a lovely venue, the 16th Century tythe barn provides the perfect back drop for both summer and winter weddings.

Our choice of gowns for this shoot had to match these beautiful touches, and scream elegant winter bride. We decided to choose two Suzanne Neville numbers, the sophisticated Belle, a high neck figure hugging gown that simply embodies contemporary bridal elegance. The second Suzanne Neville gown was Angelico, an exquiside gown with full tulle skirt, and intricately detailed lace bodice with sleeves the perfect wintery number.

The final gown added a touch of Brit cool, buy the London designer Kate Halfpenny. The swan skirt is both fun and stylish with layered petals adorned with just a hint of sparkle, teamed here with both a sparkly top and a simple one for day to night looks. All of these gowns are available to try in our Oxford boutique, so make sure you book your appointment asap to try them.
