Its no secret that me and the Ellie Sanderson girls love The National Wedding Show, In fact we love it so much that this is our seventh year at the show. (our feet however have a whole different take on this!)
This year is probably our most special and exciting in all of the years we have been at the show.
We have some awesome and exciting surprises in store. Our first bit of news is that we are delighted to announce that SUZANNE NEVILLE will be with us in person on Friday and will have her 2015 collection of gowns with her. (small squeal) Suzanne will be seeing brides and chatting about the inspiration behind her fabulous dresses. Our second and rather fabulous bit of news is that Jenny Packham has allowed us to borrow a rather famous dress for our scene on the Catwalk. The Jenny Packham Rapunzel gown was chosen to be exhibited at the V&A, was created in 2013 in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary. Demonstrating Jenny’s contemporary approach to bridal design, the ivory silk chiffon gown features a hand sewn Swarovski encrusted bodice and full crystal embellished train. This amazing gown can be seen at The V&A’s “Wedding Dresses 1775 – 2014” exhibition runs from 3 May 2014 – 15 March 2015. But come and see it with us at The National Wedding show.
And if you can contain yourself for our final bit of exciting news here it is – SASSI HOLFORD will be with us on Sunday with her 2015 collection. How flipping awesome is that. Sassi will be seeing brides and chatting about her collection as well as show casing on our runway scene.
