We have an amazing and very original engagement story that brings a tear to the eye today; our bride Heather is an actress and whilst performing at the Mill in Sonning, her partner Sandy was exceptionally brave and got up on stage during the bows, proposing in front of the whole audience, I think it’s safe to say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

Heather and Sandy had a fresh spring wedding at Stoke Park, this stunning country club provided the perfect backdrop for their chic yet personal wedding, photographed by our very own David Bostock.

Maintaining the originality through to their wedding Heather had a bespoke Sassi Holford gown, incorporating her favourite features from a few different Sassi designs Heather created her perfect dress. Her something borrowed came from another Ellie Sanderson bride in the form of her Sassi Holford veil which completed the look perfectly. Oh and did we mention a pair of Jimmy Choo’s?!

Heather’s colour scheme incorporated pinks and corals with flashes of gold to create a luxurious and romantic atmosphere. Heather and Sandy personalised the wedding by hand making a lot of the details including the shot glass favours with guests initials, table plan, and their incredible wedding cake made by Heather’s mum and sister.

In Heather’s own words her favourite moment was ‘hearing the speeches and having all the people we love together in one room’, what a lovely day!

Heather and Sandy’s flowers were by Tracey Ricci, her hair and make up by Katie Raey Scott and their videographer was Mark Shipperly.

The Ellie Sanderson girls would like to send Heather and Sandy a massive congratulations on your wedding, and we hope you are enjoying married life to the full! x
