It some how feels rather fitting to share Pippa and Chistophers wedding once again – they are expecting their first child this week (hopefully) and so lets just gaze at the wonderful wedding day that started this fairytale romance.

Beautiful Pippa knew a thing or two about weddings before her own proposal came about; as Brand Director for Wedding Ideas Magazine Pippa was already immersed in a world of all things wedding dresses, cakes, and favours. Pippa describes the moment her boyfriend Chris proposed;

“It was the most unexpected and romantic proposal ever! I took him away for a birthday trip to Venice in December 2012, he insisted we went on a gondola and we walked for ages to find a singing gondola driver! Chris speaks Italian so asked him to sing love songs all the way round, it was like something out of a movie (I thought he was trying to get a better price!). Then half way round he stood up, I thought he was going for a crazy photo opportunity but he got down on one knee! I cried – then said yes please!”

Pippa’s job involves travel between Taunton and London during the week. She also covers a lot of British land with work covering launches, new commercial ideas, and meetings over champagne! Having heard of almost every British wedding venue, Pippa would never have had an easy ride choosing just one! Luckily Pippa and her fiance Chris chose a beach wedding, something they knew almost immediately. Pippa describes why;

“As we both love to travel and wanted something low key, the Caribbean offers easy travel from the UK and the US as we had family coming from both sides and the beaches are beautiful!  We just loved the idea of a relaxed barefoot wedding! We chose the St James Club to get married, which was the perfect location and a stunning setting for the big day!

Pippa chose Suzanne Neville to make her wedding dress and after having explored the collection thoroughly, Pippa describes her dress journey;

“I have always loved Suzanne Neville, her dresses are structured, sexy and as soon as you put one on you feel a million dollars! I chose treasure, a simple, slinky, silk dress, perfect for the beach and climate. The dress was made to measure so we dropped the back slightly to give it even more wow factor! It fitted perfectly thanks to your amazing seamstresses!”

A breathtaking location and the stunning couple made an idyllic wedding that looks absolutely sensational. Could Pippa pick just one favourite moment? Of course not, but she describes her most memorable moment;

“It was waiting at the top of the isle to go down and seeing Chris, it was so emotional. I remember feeling so happy! I wish I could do it all over again”
