WOW, we have a totally fabulous wedding for your today! Think cliff top setting in the Mediterranean, candles, sunsets and a totally gorgeous Jenny Packham gown of course. Ysabel and Stephen, were married at the Amante Beach Club in Ibiza, an absoooutely stunning restaurant set over three levels in a cove overlooking the sea!

Ibiza has always been a special place for Ysabel and Stephen with its mix of hippy spiritualism and hedonism, and Ysabel’s Spanish roots it seemed like the perfect choice for their wedding. They couldn’t wait to introduce family and friends to the island on their special day.

The stunning views of the sea and the natural colours of the dramatic cliffs and plant life inspired the couple’s decor with a colour scheme of ivory, sand and green to blend with nature. Tables were dressed with candles and greenery halos made from local wild plants, whilst the menus and place cards were all accessorised with sprigs of Rosemary grown in the restaurant’s garden, adding a lovely scent. Personalised sandal wood fans kept guests cool during the ceremony. A Flamenco guitarist and band played during the reception drinks and of course the couple were spoilt for choice for DJ for the evening party, which was held in the upstairs covered terrace.

Ysabel wore Bardot by Jenny Packham, a beautiful gown that fitted perfectly with the relaxed and elegant feel of their wedding.

Here’s some words for Ysabel on her favourite moment: ‘The walk to meet my Groom was a long one down the three levels of the venue to the beach side setting, my worst fear was that I would trip down one of the flights of stairs – but as I arrived at the top, the sunlight hit my bead encrusted dress and apparently it went off like a glitterball (quite appropriate since this was Ibiza) our guests all stood and cheered and I felt like a film star!’

Advice for other brides: ‘Don’t worry about  all the small details. Its easy to get obsessive about these but don’t forget that all that really matters is your Groom, some good food and music. And of course a dress you feel really good in!’

Her non traditional ceremony which focused on nature, spiritualism and even the Goddess Thanit of Ibiza was beautiful and inspiring especially as we listened with waves crashing into the beach below us.
