We couldn’t be happier that weddings are finally firmly back on the agenda, but while the world is slowly opening up, we still need to be careful, which is why we ask all our brides and their guests to wear a mask during appointments and fittings. With wedding season now in full swing, we need to keep you all safe, so all of the team at Ellie Sanderson will be wearing masks while we help you find your dream dress.
WHY DO WE NEED TO WEAR MASKS?
We’re not a giant department store – our Ellie Sanderson bridal studios are small and intimate, and we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service. You – the bride – are at the heart of everything we do, which is why we are asking everyone to wear a mask when they visit.
The very nature of our job is close contact – we can’t take measurements or help you into wedding gowns when socially distanced, so we feel mask wearing is a sensible and simple way for us to all keep each other as safe as possible.
When we’re not helping you find your perfect dress, we’re fitting brides, just weeks before their wedding. If key members of the team get sick, or if we have to close the studios due to Coronavirus, we can’t be there for our brides when they need us in the run-up to their big day. We fit brides so close to their wedding day that it’s essential we keep them safe. After so many months of disappointment for so many brides, it’s just not an option to put their health or their wedding day at risk.
We need to get our brides down the aisle, and we need to keep the team safe and well. It’s really as simple as that.
WILL A MASK GET IN THE WAY WHEN TRYING ON WEDDING DRESSES?
100% NO! Some of you may not be keen on wearing masks, others might not be bothered in the slightest, but we assure you that wearing a mask to your appointment won’t cause any issues when choosing or trying on different wedding dresses. None of this will stop us having the best time ever – and that’s a promise!
CAN I BRING ANY GUESTS WITH ME?
We’re so happy to say that we are now able to increase the number of guests a bride can bring along to her appointment to three per bride. We’ve always had a limit on guest numbers at Ellie Sanderson, as we like to keep the experience as fun and comfortable for you, without being overwhelmed. We know how important it is to share this exciting occasion with your best friends and closest family, so we fully welcome this step forward. All we ask is that your guests also wear masks. If anyone is exempt from wearing a mask due to medical reasons, please let us know beforehand so we can discuss this with you.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE
We take your health and safety seriously, which is why along with mask wearing we take lateral flow tests regularly and hand sanitise ALL the time. The pandemic has not gone away, so we take every step possible to keep our studios a Covid-free space.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for working with us on this – we appreciate you all so much. As brides-to-be, we know you get it.
If you haven’t book an appointment with us yet, you can do that here.
